    Dear Mabinogi Fans,

    I wanted to speak with you today about the lock-out issues that have affected Mabinogi. Sadly, this problem has inconvenienced many members of our community for the past two months and we have heard your disappointment, anger, and frustration through customer service, our forums, and emails. All of us at Nexon know that you love Mabinogi and the very special community you have built.

    The lock-outs were first identified back in October and since then, our teams in America and Korea have been working together to fix the issue. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to isolate and reproduce the issue, pinpoint the cause, and work out a solution. We sincerely apologize for the length of time that we have kept you from your game and friends.

    Fortunately, the lock-outs have now been resolved and you should once again be able to access your characters.

    We understand that while this is good news, it doesn’t make up for the time you’ve lost with your game and friends.To that end, we would like to offer the following compensation to our impacted players:

    1. 2x 100 AP Potions to accounts that have been affected.
    2. 10k NX to all accounts affected by the lock-out issue.
    3. 60 days of VIP Service to all accounts affected by the lock-out issue.

    We hope that this helps to make up for the time you’ve lost and begins to mend the heartache this issue has created. All of us here at Nexon remain committed to bringing you the finest Mabinogi experience possible.
