Huh. The topic name somehow reminds me of "The World That Never Was" from Kingdom Hearts II...
So I know that I haven't been online Mabi since the day I joined the guild (which pisses me off cuz of the server rollback I missed a free 20k NX) and I've still been thinking about what I should do with my characters. I know fighting is an important and mandatory thing for our characters in terms of growth and development, but I realized that, besides my main Sasegen, my alts have little to no specializations of their own.
Listing all of my alts, they are Adhel (human female), Saithiis (elf female), Thorak (male giant), and Tydon (male human).
Adhel is a bow wielder, though her primary focus used to be doing church PTJs. Since I haven't logged any time since I joined, her count's back to 1, and I'm not entirely sure if I want her to pursue a specialization that requires extreme attention. She is a blacksmith, a low ranked blacksmith, but a blacksmith nonetheless, and she can stay as that.
Saithiis is also a bow wielder. I keep two bow users due to the differences in ranged combat between humans and elves. I have her disciplined in both the art of archery and a bit of magic (she knows Ice Spear, rank A I think). She doesn't have any sort of specialization in the life skill field though, and I need to think of her to do something.
Thorak is a pure brawler. He'll mostly use blunts as his weapon(s) of choice, but he's more of a jack-of-all-trades: at least in weaponry choices. I say that he's a bit strong, but I still consider him weak for a giant. He also has no life skill specialization, but I'm thinking of him going into Carpentry.
Tydon is a full-time alchemist. Not much to say here, but he's somewhat powerful, mostly thanks to the fact that alchemy relies on only one stat: stamina (unless they changed that too...). Personally, I think he's too weak to handle any of the bigger stuff my other characters can use (that's cuz he -is- the weakest, he didn't finish G2 yet. Freakin' ideals..). I'm considering for him to go into the music life set, including magic music, composing, etc.
I honestly don't know what to do quite yet. I know I haven't been active in the guild, which leads me to question if my alts deserve to be in the guild as well (I don't recall asking them to be part of the guild). When I do come back, I'd like to ask the guild members to help me redefine all of my characters, and getting them back into good condition for them to earn a place in Erinn, and the guild. Though I don't see how Sasegen managed to stay in the guild when I haven't logged in for over two months...
I promise, I'll try to be more active during winter break and on. I'm moving to a house and out of this old dorm with terrible internet next semester. I'm hoping that the internet will be much, MUCH better. As for being at home, I should be on as long as my brother doesn't keep me away from the computer, I'm not distracted by the xBox with the huge collection of games that are coming (or already came) out, or otherwise just not busy with things.
See you guys in the game mid-December! Maybe earlier if I choose to log on just to talk, and rebirth.
