Neither do I, but I'm pretty sure everyone can agree that Nexon thinks with their money, not their brains. They probably apply all their updates from overseas for ALL their games. It's literally copy and paste, and translating. And the worst part: they don't even put their best effort into it. That's why we get extremely long updates, sloppy work, and very crappy customer support.
And Mike, Nexon does have other games to run, not just Mabi. The only issue is that they're not putting enough care into Mabi anymore as they used to. I remember when Nexon was pretty cool before Chapter 3 was implemented, after that they severely went downhill. Personally, the attention they were getting from the press is probably what caused them to change the most. It's a terrible company that hosts great games. Combinations like that just doesn't work out.
Edit: WoW is run by Blizzard. Yes, there's a monthly payment, but you have to consider their other games too. Starcraft II, soon-to-be-released Diablo III, World of Warcraft, those are all the mainstream games Blizzard has. And their company does not fail to disappoint. Unlike some companies.
It might be partially because there's a fee to play, but their customer service is excellent, even outside World of Warcraft. All your tickets get answered within 24 hours, 48 if they're really busy. Their responses are meant to always help you out. Their dedication to providing customer service impresses me, since many of their games rely on the community. Mabinogi does not do that. Nexon seems to completely ignore the community unless 80% of it complains.
And it also might be because Mabinogi isn't that high-rated of a game compared to other free MMOs. Maple Story (somehow) is still one of the highest, if not the best. Subsequently, they would probably have better customer service in comparison to Mabinogi. The GMs who review your tickets? They take only the GMs who are working for a game to review them. And I would have to say that the GMs in Mabinogi are more than likely unprofessional. Yes. There is a thing as professional gamers.
Second Edit: I apologize in advance for the foul language, but f**k Nexon and their ability to do their jobs like high school drop outs. They refuse to admit their mistakes, and their quality of work is about as horrid as fast food workers. (Trust me on the fast food part, I would know, I held a part time job at a McDonald's once.)
