    Merchanting Strategy? Empty Merchanting Strategy?

Post by Sakubou Sat Nov 19, 2011 5:27 pm

I'm just wondering if there is some strategy I'm not getting when it comes to merchanting. I usually buy the most expensive thing, then if I have ducats/weight left, I buy cheaper and cheaper... Yeah.

Am I doing this inefficiently? Extreme Shock

    Step 1: Get a calculator.
Step 2: Know what you want first. Is it Ducats or Merchant Rating? Go with more expensive goods if you want rating. If you need more Ducats, go with cheaper goods.
Step 3: Use calculator to determine best profits.
Step 4: Go out there and don't get pwnt.

That's what I do. If I feel lazy and don't want to use a calculator though, I just do what you do. XD

If all else fails, just ask yourself this. What would Horo do?

    *points at signature*

*cough* Go watch the anime if you haven't already.

And merchanting isn't all that serious to start with. I think it's just investing your time in stuff for things you can get exclusively only from doing this thing. It's not a bad thing, but to benefit from any of the really good stuff, you have to be super dedicated to it. And that's not easy.

Yeah... Not gonna watch that anime haha. I don't really care about anime/manga any more. Let alone have time to dedicate to it.

    But okay. Haha

And you have the time to play Mabinogi.

There is something wrong with this one....

I started playing mabi again when I got sick. That's a trend for me. And really, mabi takes up a lot of time by itself. Playing mabi AND watching/reading anime/manga... That's a lot of time wasted. Not to mention... I'm just not all that interested in it anymore.

Still not back in school because I'm catching up with home teaching. So I have the time now. Probably won't have as much when I'm back in school full time. Especially because I'll also start working out again. (Can't do a lot of physical ANYTHING with my migraines.) Who knows, I may end up quitting again.
